Having practiced knowledge in aviation, VNI has implemented an Integrated Aviation Management System (IAMS) for a county’s Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) as well as developing and implementing aviation management qualifications and courses for aviators in general.

Oversee design, development, implementation, entrenchment and maintenance of a large scale integrated electronic safety management system (including Occurrence Reporting, Occurrence Investigation, Assessments, Audits and Surveys), in the Safety function of an air navigation service provider, with prominence on system architecture, setup, configuration, system-user interfaces, as well as alignment of roles and responsibilities with system requirements, coaching and change management.

Recognised as having in-depth knowhow in Construction, VNI has delivered effective training and development, safety and risk improvement, and change management projects.

Overseeing the accreditation processes of various academic qualifications for Tertiary Institutions, aligned with relevant unit standards and the establishment of appropriate learning outcomes (NQF 4, 5, 6 & 7 Generic Management Qualification). The project involved the composition of specific curriculum frameworks in the areas of creativity, aviation and change management, the design of training material based on unique training methodologies, and the construction of training manuals and supporting training tools.

Overseeing the development of a human resources management system, which required business process redesign, and the alignment of people with newly developed roles and responsibilities. The project involved both the drafting of the system specification for use by systems architects & the ensuing implementation of the newly developed system and coaching of users and managers.

Oversee and partake in large scale safety management system implementations for various mining undertakings (Gold, Copper, Diamonds, Coal, Zinc, Lead, Manganese, Platinum) in a wide range of mining operations (open pit and underground mining operations, engineering works, metallurgical processing plants) and construction, with specific emphasis on leadership coaching, Incident Management (IM), Standards, Rules and Procedures (SRP), Contractor Management (CM), Process Safety Management (PSM) and Safety Interactions (SI), through a change in behaviour and systems, transformation in organisational culture and the alignment of roles and responsibilities with newly developed business processes.

Overseeing the compilation and implementation of the mining rights application of a large mining operation, comprising; mine works programme/plan, environmental management plan, social and labour plan and local economic development plan.
